The embroidery is at the heart of the piece. Drawing from the elaborate decorative language traditionally associated with heritage agbádás, its detailed motifs bring a sense of richness, identity and occasion to the flowing silhouette. What was once reserved for ceremonial dressing is interpreted here in a modern, feminine form.

Care Instructions

To preserve the embroidery, colour and beautiful drape of your kaftan:

• Dry clean recommended with a tried and trusted facility
• If hand washing, use cold water and a gentle detergent.
• Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals.
• Do not wring, twist or tumble dry.
• Hang or lay flat to dry naturally, away from direct sunlight.
• If ironing is required, use low heat on the reverse side and avoid pressing directly over the embroidery.
• Store folded or on a padded hanger in a cool, dry place.

While every piece is carefully inspected for quality, the traditional dyeing process may affect the strength of certain areas of the fabric in ways that cannot be detected visually. We encourage gentle handling and proper garment care to maximise the longevity of your piece.
